Topic: Why don't new artists release their work on physical media?

That doesnt really make sense - once you have a digital file copied to a PC you can duplicate it however many times you want? Much worse than the "alledged home taping crisis (manufactured by the record companies). For some modern genres vinyl is completely irrelevent as their consumers are only using phones to listen to music? Nowadays in trendy nightclubs they quite often dont use CD's or vinyl as its all digital.

A lot of new artists do frequently do press vinyl but at the moment it is prohibitedly expensive for young bands with long delays caused by the major labels hogging the few pressing plants available by repressing the same old crap over and over. The industry has never been able to think long term, one day they will realise that they will never be able to shift warehouses full of brand new Sinatra/ phil collins et al records as there is no demand.
