Topic: Coronation records

	Gill Sans SUBS Member since Apr 2014 1112 Points Moderator	The Coronation of Charles and Camilla last week was a magnificent spectacle for United Kingdom and many other countries. Anyone who looks on YouTube for Classical 78s may have seen this recording pop up as a 'suggestion': From that video there is a link to the Coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth page, with the story of the recording of the full Service and King's speech, to be released within a few days as a set of 15 records. These would not have been affordable for most record buyers so there will be few of the records available for collectors. It would be nice to see these be added, probably from museum collections. Incidentally, there seems to be a Decca Classics recording "The Official Album of The Coronation: The Complete Recording", recorded a day before at the rehearsal for the ceremony in May 2023, released for download on the day of the coronation.
