Columbia FB 2795 - "This Is Worth Fighting For".
The June 1942 issue of The Gramophone has this listed as "This Is No Laughing Matter" coupled with "Strange As It Seems" (you can borrow the issue here). This seems to be confirmed by the sleeve notes of the conifer Turner Layton CD (see here). I do have the CD, so can send you an mp3 of "This is no laughing matter" if you like. I suspect it was simply a cross-referencing error in the Missing Charts book, since both titles start with "This Is"!

This is apparently included on the Music & Memories CD "The Golden Age of Popular Song - 1942" (see here). There's a copy for sale on discogs (see here). The CD also includes Geraldo - The White Cliffs of Dover, which I seem to remember was one you were also looking for.[/quot

Thanks for the heads up on the CD which I have just bought thanks to you....I think you might be right on the mis-title on the Turner Layton......If it is not too much trouble could you do an mp3 of This Is no Laughing Matter by Turner layton as I agree that it is probably an error
