I suspect the records are just very rare (or at least haven't survived to the present day). I'm not surprised by any of the artists - Turner Layton, Jimmy Leach & Patricia Burke all seem to have been consigned to the history books long ago (despite the first two being very popular in their day), so I doubt many collectors have hung on to the 78s by those artists, nor would they sell well on ebay. They also happen to fall between the gaps in the Rust discographies!

Out of interest, how do you therefore know that those records were never issued? Is there another source that lists unissued records? I didn't come across any gaps in the FB series - I had almost concluded that FB2300 was unissued, given it wasn't listed in the end of year catalogue, but it turned out to be an ARP instructional record!
