Topic: Ogdens’ or Ogden’s Nut Gone Flake

I would have thought that as it was a surname "Ogden" as in Stan Ogden it would have been Ogden's and anything apart from Ogden's would have been an error. The brand "Ogden's" did exist and also sold "St. Bruno Flake" with the brand name "Ogden's" clearly showing with the apostrophe shown thus.

However whoever was in charge of the graphics for the COVER of Ogden's Nut Gone Flake put the apostrophe in the wrong place. The same error was made on the labels so that at least the labels and the cover match. It is possible that the apostrophe was misplaced on purpose to avoid any eventual legal action from the tobacco company. Therefore the correct name for the original album and any following issue is correctly "Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake" because that is the title given by the record company at issue.
