Hi

What a fabulous forum and site this is. Stumbled upon it the other day after dusting down a box of one hundred odd 78s that I acquired years back on a whim having bought an old HMV gramaphone at an auction. I’d hoped to find a few of my old favourites among them sight unseen but the only one was Your Feet’s Too Big by my beloved Mr Waller. Anyway it means I own 120 78s which have no great meaning to me. I’d love to find some that do - but having started a wish list it looks like most are hard to find and expensive. One way or another Id like to find homes for all the ones I have - Fats excepted natch. So if anyone wants to scan the collection I’ve added on the site and sees sth that is of interest please holler at me. Not checked any of them closely for quality - unlikely to be anything in mint condition but happy to let you to take a look at pix and be the judge for yourselves. Only one has a crack as far as I can see - and it’s an early Elvis annoyingly as I’m guessing that might be one of the more valuable ones.

Also, Anyone who has Joe Hill by Robeson or Rosie the Riveter by the Four Vagabonds and who wants to part with them - these two have real sentimental value to me so I would be interested in buying them.

Cheers
