 | vinylxs Member since Jan 2013 8 Points | A CDV is a Compact Disc Video - a strange hybrid of a CD single and laserdisc from the late eighties. The inside of the disc plays up to 20 minutes of music and the outside usually has one video clip which can only be played on a laserdisc player. The CD bit can be played on any CD player. (Not to be confused with a VCD which is a Video Compact Disc - which contains just over an hour of low quality video and audio. These are from the nineties but still popular in some Asian countries). |
