Supposedly, there still is an ongoing Mod discussion, of the use or switch to square brackets vs. the round ones (parenthesis), which were used in 45cat.
Bear in mind, that on 7" singles, their use was minimal, due to the fact that only
2 tracks were presented and there was very little duplicating of tracks (different
versions).

I PM'd Dr. Doom a short while ago, concerning using round brackets in the track slots because they interfere with ( ) already used in track titles. With the addition of many versions of the same track on remix CD's, the ( ) are being overused.
Dr. Doom created a Mod Forum, taking my ideas into consideration.

If we want visitors who want to look up music information to come here, you want
this site CD World, as well as 12" World to be as easy to read. The square bracket does this.

The Mods seem to disagree and are editing everything. I was told that
[ ], are for additional reference only, but this really is only used in
Artist and maybe CD Title. Also, the iGuide mentions nothing about how
the tracks are to be added. It's a very simple list of instructions and it's
only the Mods who are giving you instructions.

Any input from other users would be appreciated.
