Issued as part of the "Nice Price" series, with 2 sides of folded card inlay "pages" listing 20 others in this cassette & CD range: i thought this CBS campaign (& series: but included "Nice Price"-stickered LP, cassette & CD overstocks) was a much later reaction to low sales of full & premium-priced "product"; but the 1968 (p) & © is the only date on the cassette shell and inlay. "Sony Music Entertainment (UK) Ltd. Are the exclusive licensees for the UK." may give a different earliest "not-before" date. Cassette mfd in Holland using Dolby-b noise (tape hiss) reduction on implicitly ferric tape.
Cat# is prefixed 40- on card inlay base of spine; not, on cassette.
"nice price" series cd cat# would be cd32015; original UK LP was cbs s 63578 1968.

ppint. 17th Jul 2015		on the original 1968 cbs lp (& merkin single on epic), "apartment number nine" is credited to tammy wynette as a solo artist; i don't believe that the track was re-recorded as a duet with david houston, and cannot hear his voice on the tape track - but it is so credited on the cassette card inlay.
