 unusually in 1986, this cassette single was sold separately whereas most cassette singles were being shrinkwrapped as freebies with 7 inch singles
The only other notable separate cassette singles from this time were from artists such as Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Propaganda, and Peter Gabriel - a couple of years on and everything was being issued on "cassingles" as well as on 7 inch, 12 inch and cd singles - as part of the 'format wars' to gain chart entries.
it was a great time for collectors (if you could afford all the formats)

One Great Thing came out on four 7 inch formats plus at least 2 different 12" singles as well as this cassette - strangely they never thought to do CD singles of this one...
