 I saw Eels live on 3rd May 1997. Brilliant stuff. The last time I ever saw such an extensive drum solo.
IIRC, the Eurovision song contest results were on TV after the gig. We won. What an odd night that was.

 Agreed, zabadak -though "Novocaine" became a bit of a millstone round E's neck. If you've never read it, I'd recommend Mark Everrett's book : "Things the Grandchildren Should Know", and the BBC documentary about himself and his father. That documentary was screened in lieu of a support act on one Eels gig I attended, and was much more entertaining than the support act on another occasion I saw them/him.

 First to be added of a few cassette singles I have stashed away: B-side turns up on their rather wonderfully-titled "Useless Trinkets" collection. Apologies for the rather grubby slipcase.
