| Trainman 25th Jul 2015 | Again, Gusto is not a very impressive label. They were notorious for re-recordings, (although to give them credit, in later years they did start to admit it on LP's). On this particular release, three of the songs, while they MAY have been recorded by Tommy Roe, weren't even his hits! "Baby I Love You" was a hit for Andy Kim "Crimson & Clover" was Tommy James And The Shondells "Sugar Sugar" was The Archies (a fictional group of studio musicians, usually led by Ron Dante ) | |
