 Looks like Decca UK were slow to take up tape - this Billboard article from 7 Nov 1970 refers to "Decca's first British tape release last month".

 I think the 1966 copyright date is for the original compilation. Decca's 1974 catalogue gives a release date of October 1970 for this and, in fact, doesn't list any tapes released before 1970 - I don't know whether Decca were slow to embrace tapes, or what.
