Added grey shelled version. Do these different coloured shells show they are later/earlier releases to each other or are they simply whatever was to hand in the factory at that time?

I've changed it. It's got a Harvest catalogue number, and says Harvest on the label.

I think maybe the rule that we have on the album worl where the label on the actual cassette should be used. Same as how the label on vinyl albums is what is in the disc itself. Emi is on the sleeve as its a parent company.

I have no comment on the use of the EMI logo, but I think that this cassette was issued in 1974, from previously released material (the album SHSP 4037 was released 1973, I think).
On the inlay card is 7411DP, which is a printers code for November 1974, and DP might be Delga Press, but don't hold your breath, I'm not sure they printed for EMI group.

I was retailing records around that time, 1974, and I remember that EMI cassettes had nearly all gold background on the the inlay card at an earlier time, so I'm guessing that this is later.

I have a number of the "all gold" earlier variants, so I will be posting them as and when.....

P.S. A copy of this cassette on sale at ebay with the same 7411 coding just about one day to run.....

I don't think it's a mistake. I think those tapes with half gold and half white spines had the EMI logo as standard on the fronts (EMI being parent company to Harvest and several other labels). Something to watch out for on the site.

I would say so too - looks like someone mucked up by putting the circular EMI logo on the front!

 Should this not be harvest?
