The Kinks - Kinda Kinks		Sometimes, tapes are wound "tails out" to reduce magnetic bleed through. Tails out means the end of the tape is out, requiring one to rewind the tape before playing the side. "Bleed through" is an echo you can often hear in a silent section of a recording, caused by the tape getting magnetized by another section of the tape. It happens often to analog tapes being stored for a long time without being played or periodically being rewound to break up the magnetic field. It's good to rewind tapes about once a month if possible.
