Slip Covers

What do I about Albums with slip covers? HMV release albums with different slips all with a different barcode but the CD inside is actually the same as the release with the original barcode. Do I just scan the slips and and them to the original release or do I add each Album separately?

You can do either, but I think it would be better to have all as one entry, with all the barcodes entered in the Notes. More slip covers may be added by other members, to make an interesting entry. We may have to rethink the guidelines about this!

IMHO these HMV versions should have separate entries.
They have a unique barcode, a different outfit and are only available through one retailer. I would enter such a release as Special Edition.

Yes, I'd go along with this. We've sort of come to the conclusion that CD world is more 'product based' than 45s and LPs. Coming from an age when barcode is king?!

Yes, for the slip case / cover for The Beatles Live At The BBC - The Collection I entered it separately from the two double albums it contained,
