Only Castle gets my vote.
Castle Communications is the company I would say.
Can we agree to one label here.

Castle Communications gets my vote for the reason that though they have not been posted on cd world there are several labels called Castle. If you look at 45cat there is a seperate Castle and Castle Communications that is why I went with Communications for Tape World. I may be thinking to far ahead but as the Worlds get more links to each other keeping some sort of consistency between Worlds may avoid problems in the future.

The Castle Comms logo is on the back covers though.
I had one of these actually, a dodgy heavy metal comp, which we haven't got on the site as yet - I don't have it anymore though. Shame. No doubt it will turn up eventually.

The name, Castle is also attached to an EMI(Australia)-affiliated music publishing company which, I believe, is still active. This music publisher handled the compositions of Neil Diamond(except for I'm A Believer and A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You, which were handled by Screen Gems/Columbia Music) among other songwriters' works. And the British firm, Castle Communications actually rebranded themselves as Castle Copyrights some years back.

I just looked up Castle on 45 cat. Its seems that Castle Music is listed separately from Castle Communications, however from a Motorhead collectors standpoint I am given to understand that was the same company. Notorious for many poor quality complilations of "MH" and the Small Faces.

Castle Communications(or Castle Copyrights, as they later rebranded themselves) are separate and distinct from, and have no affiliation with Castle Music Publishing Company of Australia. The latter is an EMI-affiliated publisher, together with J. Albert & Sons Ltd. and(the now defunct) Palings Music Co. Ltd.
