I'll admit I've added cassettes to both labels too.
Both logos appear on the cassette shells and inlays, and a lot of the cat. numbers (mainly form the 90's onwards in RCA's case) begin with 74321.
But which should it be, RCA or BMG?
Historically, RCA is the label, and BMG is the record company. I would only use BMG as a label if there is no other logo present. Ditto if you see Arista and BMG together, Arista is the label.

Having checked the label summary of my collection all but one was RCA (Have now changed the errant tape from BMG to RCA). I'd go with RCA as label, if required BMG could go as secondary label.

I don't see option for secondary label.
It will be very useful because now it is a bit messy.
I often come across items here with wrongly pointed distribution companies as a label of the issue.
