I have a few CDs - for example CD2 or disc 3 etc that have obvious come for a box set or multi disc collection of some sort. What's the best way to put them up onto this site ???? Is it worth it if they are not the complete package ??? Your comments are welcome

You could enter the individual discs if you want to and mention in notes that they are part of a box set.

We can always move scans across in the future.

That reminds me actually, I have an orphaned one I meant to ask about ages ago, I'll add it at some point.

It's a Bob Marley CD, somebody gave me it years ago but it's from one of those cheap Tring budget box set things, disc 2 (as stated on the spine), but I don't have the other disc(s).

I will add it with a note when I get round to it.

nboldock: #3: watch out for those nassty tring things: in very small print, they tend to admit they're not the original recordings, but re-rrecordings with some - may include only one - of the original vocalists & musicians. . .

and others mayn't advertise too visibly they're live recordings, sometimes from the same, sometimes from a different decade to the original album's release date. . .

Yeah I know, I remember them when they were "new" out, they were all over the place in all manner of shops! The Marley one isn't bad actually, they are early recordings I think and some of them are pretty decent.

I have a Troggs best of on the "Fat Boy" label (it's on the site) which is another one of that ilk, all later recordings and in places quite terrible (though with one or two highlights I suppose).

Fortunately the only place I tend to buy CDs these days is in charity shops so if something turns out to be duff it's only 50p or a quid that I've wasted, and in the worst cases they can just go straight back whence they came!

I haven't added the Bob Marley one yet, I forgot, I will get to it...
