 | Fanboy3 Member since Dec 2014 4 Points | Cataloging some 78's i've inherited from my late uncle. I know there's very little value with most 78's & these are mainly from the 30's, 40's & 50's. In the collection is a 78 by Ruby Murray & Anne Warren - IF ANYONE FINDS THIS-I LOVE YOU/BEFORE WE KNOW IT. This record has the same label on both sides. Would this make it more collectible/valuable? |

| slholzer Not my circus, not my monkeys. Member since Dec 2014 619 Points | sadly, i must agree that label errors are not particularly valuable, unlike with postage stamps, coins and paper money. There might be some collectors whose interest is in label variations that would want them, but probably not at big prices. You should not be too quick to write off the more recent decades, though. Every decade of 78 history has generated its treasures. Music has evolved throughout the time that 78s were made and things that nobody knew were going to be valuable were frequently overlooked. |
