I have a 12" shellac coated metal 78rpm disc. It has a hand written label with VDISC on it. It has the Esquire Metro 1945 session on one side and Bud Freeman on the other. The shellac is beginning to flake away at the edges.

I wondered whether anyone knows what these metal discs are. I've never seen one before and can't find any info about them.Is it likely to be a recording from the original or just a bootleg from a Vdisc?

Would a collector be interested in this?

Its a Victory Transcription Disc, this were made as blanks and you recorded whatever to it 'live'. They are collectable depending on whats on them.
