I'm surprised this kind of thing doesn't happen more often.

78s are scarily heavy.

It's OK...

...I've alleviated the weight issue by stripping out all the loft insulation, and chucked the water tank out.

(Gotta have priorities in life!)

I did find a bare footed Paul McCartney up there, under a mass of hair, and squinting at the light when I shone my torch that way...

...he's harmless enough though, he scurried away under a pile of old carpet, so I'm not going to disturb him... bless his cotton socks (If he had any!).
