 | Trainman Trainman Member since Jun 2014 2559 Points Moderator | Where and how do I enter a dual disc? I speak of a double sided release, where one side of the disc is a CD, the other side is a DVD. I do see "dual disc" as a format option when entering CD's, (which also appears to have never been used), but I'm more concerned about which world. Do I enter it in both CD albums AND DVD/blue Ray with the appropriate track listings then link the two in notes? (which seems most logical) I have another issue where there's two discs in a boxed set, one an audio CD, the other a DVD. I would expect that the above would be the way to enter it (In fact I may have done one that way already) |

I would enter it in both worlds with links to both discs and descriptions in the notes. I have done similar with LPs that come with a CD like these: CHEM 149CD CHEM 149 |

 | okun69 Life is best at 45rpm Member since Sep 2010 668 Points | Sorry to hijack this thread but can i ask, I added this Robbie Williams Deluxe CD on both worlds, then after ppint's comment I asked for the entry to be deleted on DVD world. Should the DVD actually be listed on DVD world? |

This is a difficult one to get 100% agreement off everyone. The entry on CD Worlds looks good. I would suggest that the way forward would be enter it in CD world as you have and also enter it in DVD world with notes saying it was available with XXXX CD as a multi disc set with a link back to CD worlds. |
