Now that's what I call film-making!

I know a lot of work will go into creating CGI, but I just don't buy it when I see it, it feels like the easy option.

When you see models like these in films, it feels - if not always convincing, like Clash of the Titans - then at least more compelling, like the film has got some craftsmanship in it... like they've put the hours in, and care about what they are doing.

I think the audience appreciates that.

(And hates it when you remove it and replace it with anachronistic CGI inappropriate to the film in question (Mr Lucas!))

agreed - and the original "tron" has the best non-cgi cgis i've seen - not too complex a story, in either world, but powerful sense-of-wonder-arousing, then and now *vbg*.
