Serial as a new film type

	Tailspin Member since Mar 2013 8934 Points Moderator	Chapterplays or serials were 15 to 20 minute shorts shown as chapters over a 12 to 15 week period in theaters. Flash Gordon is probably the most famous of these type of films sometimes called cliffhangers, due to the unresolved climatic end each week that enticed patrons to come back following week to see how imperiled hero escaped death. Since they are not a single short film, but rather a 12 to 15 theatrical series, I think that Serial should be included as a separate film type along with Movie, Short and TV Movie. 	Dr Doom SUBS I wanna eat an artichoke once in a while Member since Feb 2008 25301 Points Administrator	I see that IMDb have Flash Gordon as one entry here I think that would be the easiest way for us too and we can mention in notes that it was originally shown in serial or chapter form. We could then tag anything else that fits the bill as Chapterplay or Serial.
