I have a question
How come ordinary users can't add additional label(s)?

That would definitely help getting rid of labels added as Label1/Label2/...
It would also help others getting involved in "correcting" labels and picking up incorrect label as primary one (It happened to several of my entries).
Another thing, it would eliminate need to make correction immediately after adding CDs asking mods to add additional label(s).

We can add additional catalog numbers. Why not label(s) too?

I was just wondering

A.

I see what you mean Alenko...

(Sorry, being a bit dim, I had to read a couple of times before I got what you were asking - thought you meant additonal discs first time around, then I thought you were having trouble with the drop down box in the label field on the entry page)

But you mean after you've made, and confirmed the entry, when you "Add missing info" and then add the additonal cat number, why can't you add an additional "subsidiary label" in the same way.. like:

Label: Island

(Entered)

then add missing info, and next to Island, you add: Island Red Label, to read on the finished page as:

Label: Island / Island Red Label

(The first label bold black, and the second in grey, as per cat numbers?)

I think at the moment people just add the sub-label as the main... but it is confusing, as I've entered a couple of Nine Inch Nails albums and EPs that have label given as: Nothing, Interscope, (and another I can't think of off the top of my head right now), but you then face a choice of picking one of them and hoping it is the generally accepted label for that issue

(Thinking also of Genesis CDs: Charisma / Virgin)

It's getting that we need the ability to add these extras to most fields now:

extra countries, cat numbers, and labels, as you say.
