If people are up for this, I think it could be mutually rewarding.
The idea is, when a great but obscure track has an associated YT vid on this site, recommend it here so others who have a spare three minutes can check it out.
We all might find something which we didn't know about before. Not your favourite Beatles or Abba track, obviously - something little-known, which should be better known.
This is my opening gambit: "Pull The Wagon" by Miracle Legion.
Michel Pagliaro is now considered a legend of Quebecois rock music in Canada. Almost the entirety of his works have been in French. Of the handful of English records he made, this one from 1970 was released under a one-off group pseudonym, Second Helping. All his subsequent records were released under the name of Pagliaro (he didn't use his first name).
The three different pressings on the Much label out of Toronto that I have are mono, even though they say stereo on the labels. This YouTube rendition is of the UK single released on RCA Victor, and is true stereo: We're Dancin' 'Til It Blows Over. It's always been one of my most favorite records.
This version, which I had never heard before just now, is the same track minus the lead guitars that play the song's main riff, also in true stereo:
I wonder where on earth it came from.
Edit: I see the YT poster has used my label scan from 45cat...
