Member since Aug 2012 6397 Points	hi; the ian macdonald of "fairport convention" is the ian m. macdonald of "what we did on our holidays", is the ian matthews of four solo albums 1971-74 including "matthews southern comfort", is the ian matthews of the group/band he then formed, matthews' southern comfort - two lps, " second spring" & "later that same year", that he then left (they recorded more without him, including " frog city", as southern comfort) to form plainsong with andy roberts et al., for "in search of amelia earhart", and then left to go solo again, sometime adding an "i" to become iain matthews. meanwhile, back at the ranch, 45cat manages to incorporate in its listings matthews southern comfort, matthews' southern comfort, matthew's southern comfort and matthews southern comefort. . . assuming our semi-divine beings neither undertake nor commission tardis-facilitated assassinations, somemody may wish^W feel the need to link these sometimes separately "33/lpcatted" & "cdcatted" avatars & existences appropriately and consistently in the different 45worlds & inter-worlds.
