 | Vinylville You can't overdose on music. Member since Jan 2016 1046 Points | I need to know the preferred entry of original cast recordings when artists are not specified on the label. I see many variations for previous entries and don't want to add to the confusion. I'm leaning towards using Various Artist, as in the example below. The liner notes do reference the London cast but I don't want to assume or infer this as fact. I have the US and not the UK release but the dilemma is the same. After looking at the linked image again, the UK label appears to list the artist for each track. At first I thought these were writing credits but they are not. I'm more inclined to use Various Artist as the primary artist entry but should I list the artist for each track even though the US label does not list the artists? |

I would go this way and list the artist for each track. |
