I have a copy of the 1970 album "Capitol's Country Festival" - same cat no. (SRS 5021) as the UK version already here.
The labels give no hint of origin or market, but follow standard UK practice with a rights statement on the upper perimeter.

On the sleeve the record label credits (within a text box) are for
EMI records (S.E.A.) Pte. Ltd
EMI (Malaysia) Sendirian Berhad
EMI (Hong Kong) Ltd
The sleeve printer credit is "Litho by CHiYU PRINTING Ltd SINGAPORE"

The inner sleeve also lists the same 3 companies, and has adverts for LPs from european, American and one Indian artist on one side, while the other seems to advertise SE Asian artists (e.g. Rita, Sakura), mainly in what I take to be Chinese text. They may indeed all be Chinese or HK artists, though it's printed by "Times Litho Publicity PTE Ltd"

Which country should this be entered under?

Elsewhere (Discogs), releases of this era are listed under all 3 SEA countries.

It is probably valid to enter it under any of those countries or all three, but life's too short...

I'd probably go with Singapore, but you can take your pick!

Thanks - it did occur as I was adding details of the sleeve printing credits that I'd maybe answered my question, but it was a case of "I've started so I'll finish". Singapore it shall be....

Another reason why this site needs a facility for multiple country flags!

I agree 100%! We have this problem over in 78s where London had disks made in England and sent to the USA and Canada. But it is unknown which of the two was the ultimate destination. Should they have classified as 'Export' with UK as country. Possibly.

Because it's not uncommon to find different areas of a recording's production taking place in different countries, I come to rely on where a recording was released as it's origin. But like in this case, the same end product was distributed to several Southeast(ern) Asia(n) (S.E.A.) countries. Whether it was available for retail in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, etc., as well as in Hong Kong, the package and disc was the same. If a single point of release can't be determined, I usually look for the where the recording was manufactured. To the best of my knowledge and based on similar releases, this record was likely pressed and packaged in Malaysia. That's where I would feel more comfortable placing a single entry.
