Could the Australian country swing band the "Dancehall Racketeers" be linked to the "New Dancehall Racketeers" as both bands are essentially the same band. They changed their name around 1985-86 but only have a recording history across those two years. The "New" may have referred to a line up change but for all intents and purposes these two names are the same act. There's only two entries on this part of the site that will be affected but if the singles appear on 45cat they will have both names also so linking these names will help.
I'm only asking because I nearly went to upload one of these albums again after not finding it on the homepage the first time I looked.

Here's another one, well four really that need a link Thirteenth Floor Elevators, The Thirteenth Floor Elevators, 13th Floor Elevators and The 13th Floor Elevators. Most entries here seem to listed as The 13th Floor Elevators so perhaps that should be the main listing.

Thanks sladesounds you are tops! However this album I've just added seems to have fallen through a crack. Could someone have look to see what's going on? It can only be found if you search for 13th Floor Elevators for some reason. Maybe it might need time for these things to roll over properly?

Could The Dukes Of Stratosphear and XTC be linked they are the same band in disguise. So much so that the modern re-releases of the "Dukes..." work is often titled XTC as the "Dukes...".
