| Scanning the box from a CD box set? |

 | mojofilter Member since Jul 2012 1441 Points | Is it going to be possible to submit a scan of the long box of a box set? What are the allowed dimensions? I can resize it to 800 H x 440 W and maintain the aspect ratio. But will the site accept it and display it in that size? It's been my experience that we have to break up scans of CD booklets into left and right panels because apparently the site won't display them joined.. Just wondering about other sizes and shapes. |

 | leonard ● BLANK Member since Jun 2011 45883 Points Moderator | The site can handle images up to 8 Mb. If I scan an LP cover at 300 dpi the result is 3600x3600 pixels. This will upload. CD booklets fall easily in this range. For uniformity and readability its nicer to make seperate scans of the pannels. |

Member since Dec 2011 8103 Points Moderator | Whenever you want to keep the aspect ratio correct and one of the dimensions falls below the minimum 250 then add some blank spacing each side to bring that dimension to greater than 250. I have done it here for the spine image. |
