how to first published date halved collections (and anthologies)

	ppint. Member since Aug 2012 6393 Points	providing publishing information on clark ashton smith uk p/bs, i've put the "first published" dates for collections originally published in one hardcover by arkham house in the states, and by neville spearman in the uk°, but in two parts when paperbacked by panther/granada publications in the seventies, as the original hardcovers' dates - this doesn't affect the declared & actual p/bs dates of publication, but does order them by the date of the original one-volume hardcovers in "bookcat"'s listing. semi-divine beings may prefer to re-date their "first published" dates as those of the first publications of the separate halves. (?). or leave them as at present. (??) ° - well, in one of the channel islands . . .
