Why is we, here at the CD section, can't narrow down our searches by country like we can on 45cat and the other record sites?

Break-In Master, we've had an ongoing debate for ages about what to do with the CD section. Apparently, it's still a work in progress. I would also be interested to see a comprehensive answer to your question from the MODS though.

You seem to have a strange idea of what MODS do on this site, Lee. We have extra powers to correct, edit and approve entries, but almost none to change the operation of this site in any of the worlds. That power is only with the ADMINS, who I think do a really good job.

Lots of questions and answers have already been provided in this (3 page!) thread. I've not contributed so far, but the idea that many of the problems apply only to CDs is very short-sighted, and in fact similar problems apply back to beginnings of recording in the 1890s. So it needs a lot of thought, consideration of ALL worlds, and a lot of of understanding of what can and can't be done with site software and databases.
