The first one I bought was volume 13 in Dec 1970, not initially realising that the songs were cover versions. My next door neighbours in Camberley later bought the "rival" series "Hot Hits", & we used to rate each song out of 10 In all I bought 14 of these LPs. One other budget LP I bought was "England's top 12 from summer 1970, with a pink cover. It must be one of the few covers to miss one track out - "All right now". I believe the price was about 72p.

Hi Cyprus, and welcome.

This would be the one. Since it was 1970, I'm guessing the price would have been six shillings!

For comparison, Hot Hits was retailing for 15 shillings at the time.

Although this one DOES have "Alright Now" on it credited to Frazer, Roget (look that up in your Thesaurus).
