Gramophone Co. Ltd. Label - Moderator Question.

	Bamboo Member since Apr 2019 372 Points	I seem to remember reading a comment some-where on here by a moderator on a record that all 'Gramophone Co. Ltd.' records should be entered / saved under the HMV label - because most HMV labels mention The Gramophone Co. Ltd. - or something like that. If this is correct, then should these three records be moved to HMV and 'Gramophone Co. Ltd'. label deleted ? https://www.45worlds.com/78rpm/label/the-gramophone-co-ltd

	scrough No picture 'cos I'm not into 45rpm :( Member since Jan 2013 3428 Points Moderator	You may have seen something like this in the Label biog and elsewhere, where someone has explained that GramCo labels are actually HMV. But the site is set up for ease of use, so newer folks don't need to know the background information to label names, and can find where to list an entry easily. So there is no reason to remove this 'GramCo' listing, although perhaps we should add a note at the top of the page about GramCo and HMV.
