| Do we include GmbH in a company title? |

 | JPGR&B SUBS My aim - to add all my collections on 45worlds. Member since May 2009 4516 Points Moderator | I am thinking here primarily about books and book publishers. We have Taschen and Taschen GmbH for starters, but I guess it could apply to any German company. We tend, I think I am right in saying: Not to use Penguin Books, but Penguin. Not to use Apple Records, but Apple. Not to use EMI Ltd, but EMI. So, the suffix GmbH (which is like I believe plc), which indicates the type of company, do we omit, so with Taschen GmbH do we leave it as Taschen? Thoughts please! |
