 | Dr Doom SUBS I wanna eat an artichoke once in a while Member since Feb 2008 24574 Points Administrator | The preferred image for this world is a screen grab of the title screen from the movie or trailer. The vast majority of films (new and old) have trailers you can watch on Youtube and screengrabs can be taken from there. Here are some examples of how to take screen grabs.. PC Mac You can also check youtube for tutorials on how to take screengrabs. You can also simply pause a DVD and take a photo of the screen. Example:  Screen grabs are considered fair usage and will used as the main image if available. It's also really useful to add images of the cast or key scenes from the movie.  For example see Skin Trade It probably shouldn't need saying but please don't add screengrabs from nude scenes. There are numerous websites that do that already and we don't want them on 45worlds.  | Oteis79 Member since Mar 2022 25 Points | Sorry i'm a newby here, but why use a Title card if images of Movie Posters are available online as well. Especially with foreign language movies a title card on screen is a translation. Also screenshots (at least on mac) are not a Jpeg, so if i do a screenshot i need to convert it somehow. |
