| Why am I not seeing Program instead of Track when entering new 8 track not in database? |

 | Roland Lavallee Member since Feb 2021 248 Points | I see where 8 tracks already in the database have Programs 1-4. When I try to add an 8 track not in the database and select 8 Track from the drop down format, I'm expecting to see Track change to Program 1 and so on. Why am I not seeing Program? |

 | Redpunk SUBS Crates Are For Digging Member since Aug 2012 25400 Points Moderator | You have to add Program where you require it so e.g. track 01 would be added Program 1 SECTIONBREAK She Loves You Do the same for each Program you can use the same to add Side or a subtitle once uploaded the SECTIONBREAK is not visible and it must be upper case. |

On the 8 track tape itself, there's Program 1 Song 1, Song 2, Song 3 So, on Track 1, I type in Program 1 SECTIONBREAK Song 1 SECTIONBREAK Song 2 SECTIONBREAK Song 3 On the 8 track tape itself, there's Program 2 Song 1, Song 2, Song 3 So, on Track 2, I type in Program 2 SECTIONBREAK Song 1 SECTIONBREAK Song 2 SECTIONBREAK Song 3 Is this correct? When I tried to do this, admittedly I forgot the word Program. |

| Redpunk SUBS Crates Are For Digging Member since Aug 2012 25400 Points Moderator | When you bring up the add tape page you will see this - Add Tape Media First choose the country the tape is from (or read the guide to adding tapes). Click on guide and this will give you all the info you need. |

I had to reread the instructions a couple of times in conjunction with your replies. I have over 250 8 tracks and about 800 albums to enter when I get a chance. I truly enjoy and appreciate this website. |

| Roland Lavallee Member since Feb 2021 248 Points | Anyone who knows about 8 tracks is that there was always a plentiful supply on the side of the road.  You have to be my age to appreciate that line! LOL A suggestion would be to show an exact example for 8 track and cassette such as the one you've typed for me. |
