I didn't exactly miss posting this yesterday, I just got severely sidetracked and then too tired to deal with it. So, here it is, today. What the hell? No cake and ice cream for ME anymore!
Other than a nasty scratch at the beginning of this side of the album, this album is in great shape and, when I first got it, I couldn't get this track to play all the way through without skipping a couple times. I fixed that and, although I PROBABLY CAN get rid of the click every time the scratch comes around, I have a feeling I never got around to doing that.
I never heard of The Hamilton Streetcar until probably the early `70's when, I had a copy of Hey Jude that was used and slightly beat and traded it to this kid across the street for a single by THIS band and one other record I don't recall at the moment. Other than that single, "It's Your Own Bring Down", I never saw anything else they ever did until about 15 years ago when I bought this album, probably from someone on eBay. They're stuff tends to have a really nice production but, something about the singers voice kinda bugs me. I'm not quite sure what it is.
King And Country was on the 10th Moody Blues album, Caught Live + 5. It was one of the 5. I'm not yet sure but, I THINK it might've been on their second album which, so far, I haven't been able to get a copy of, yet.
This track by Aardvark is a more prog psych than just straight ahead psych. The first half is very quiet and calm, then, the second half is very loud and fast!!
Following in the footsteps of the Aardvark track is this one by Egg which is also fast-paced, a bit on the prog side and has a jazzy time signature. 7/8, I think.
Then, we go back to Greece for, "End Of The World", also a bit on the prog side.
Jack Of Diamonds is almost too garagey to be here but, it works. I like garage, too but, when I'm looking for psych, I DON'T want garage!! I have SO MANY psych comps that I bought over the years that are nearly filled with garage instead of psych!! VERY disappointing!! I can't TELL YOU how many times I bought one and ended up only use 1 out of the 12 to 30 songs on it, for this psych project! In some cases, I didn't use ANY!!
The Dug Dugs, if I recall correctly, are from Mexico.
This next track by West Minst'r is a bit like early `70's Status Quo. (In My Chair / Gerdundula.era)
As was the norm in the `60's, there were at least 2 bands from that era that called themselves, People. This is the one that was on the Capitol "target" label. The other (more of a choral group) will eventually show up, as well as a few more tracks from these guys.
Freedom's Children were from Africa and I believe there'll be at least one other track from them showing up in the project! Looks like they beat Prince to the punch by at least 14 years with that title!
Love Sculpture, of course, was the band Dave Edmunds was in before he went solo and then buddied up with Nick Lowe and Elvis.
This track by Creation kinda sounds a lot like the early stuff from The Who and were the first band to use a violin bow to play guitar!! I forget the guy's last name but his first was, Eddie.
Strange House also has a kind of strange production in that, things sound a tad muffled at times and then, suddenly, someone turned a knob and they become loud and crass for a while, and then go back to kinda muffled.
This track by The Sands tends to sound a bit like The Move or early ELO and ends with a large chunk of the psych/prog rock standard, "Mars: The War Bringer", the famous classical piece. and, again, they use a bow on the guitar (I think),.this time to simulate war planes zooming overhead.
This last track by The Faces is instrumental and uses a lot of phase shifting throughout.
Look for CD 16 later tonight. Hmmm!! It just occurred to me that I've been posting these on the same July day as the number of the CD!! Like, this was supposed to have gone up on the 15th and today, on the 16th (my b-day) I'll be adding number 16!!
Everybody sing!
Hippo, birdie, two ewes,
Hippo, birdie, two ewes,
Hippo, birdie, deer, Dale
Hippo, birdie, two ewes.

Ah now, I think The Creation are more freakbeat than psych. However, I might include Midway Down and How Does It Feel To Feel...
I've heard of freakbeat but have never known what it is! I'm pretty sure I got that one from the Rubbles collection.
How Do You Feel is gonna be here very shortly (CD 16, I think) and, as far as I know, I've never heard of Midway Down.
