| Bronzed PDO Discs |

 | Quad5point1 SUBS Member since Jul 2012 10741 Points | I was searching around to try and find out why these discs in particular are so badly affected by this Bronzing and I came across this website from Hyperion Records. Does anybody know if this webpage is current or an old page that's still active. If it's current I have a stack of discs that I could return for replacements  |

I've learned that to tell the difference between a CD that may have subtly bronzed evenly, and a disc that ought to be that colour from PDO is to give it the flip test... ... If it's the same colour "bronze" on the bottom (playing side) as the top, you've got a knackered CD... But if it's still silver on the playing surface, all is well. |
