Elephants Memory

I just wasted the better part of an hour adding 3 Elephants Memory albums that were already here when I DID try to find them before adding them and they weren't here!! What gives?? Maybe I just shouldn't bother adding stuff anymore. Chances, are gonna be here hidden someplace already!
Why does a search for Elephants Memory only turn up 2 albums???

Try and search The Elephants Memory.
Lots of albums (31) in the vinyl world :happy:

Like I said, I DID look before adding and I only found the ones on Apple and Metromedia.
From what I'm seeing, there's multiple listings for this band because, on at least one album, there's an apostrophe before the S on the record, but NOT on the cover and, since the rules are to list things as they appear on the record....
So, now, it looks like all that work I did last night was a total waste of time and the mods will have to delete the excess copies I just added.

Always best to search with the Cat# or the barcode if there is one but even this can't be guaranteed because people don't always enter them correctly. It is very frustrating to have done all the spade work then find it was all for nowt.

The best way of searching on 45worlds/cat etc is to make sure your search parameters are neat but broad.

So for instances there are hundreds of examples of artistes with and without "THE" & in the example of Elephants Memory there are also a lot with and without an apostrophe.

The way to make your life easier in this case is for example
Goto the vinyl album home page type in ELEPHANT (no S) and select ARTIST and this will return 13 different variations of artistes including all 13 albums by "EM..." pls EM with John Lennon + Yoko Ono etc.

Okay but, why can't they all just be joined together? I think I looked up Elephant's Memory and that's why I only got the two I saw. As it happens, I probably listed the others myself a few years ago and just didn't recall doing so (my life has been an utter shambles since a few years ago and it's caused me to forget some things!!) but, I DID click on "I Own It" for those back then!
Anyway, when I type in Beatles, it gives me ALL the listings for them and I can pick the one I think I SHOULD be looking for! In this case, I THINK I only got the one listing that had the two albums in it. Go ahead and delete the newer ones, iif you want. They SHOULD be the same as the others except for maybe the pictures.
