(I'm guessing you may have already done this! Though there are some I think you have neglected to add to your list.) I would also suggest creating a saved search on eBay so that you get alerts when the records are listed (it looks like Hey Little Hen was on there a few months ago). Also you could try advertising in Memory Lane - though it might be hard to get all the text in one advert. There's a Facebook group for The Golden Age of British Dance Bands, maybe some of them can help. Oh, and if the record is on here and listed as 'owned' by someone, you could message the member to ask if they'd be willing to sell their copy. You never know. But on the whole, these recordings do appear to be hard to find. Amazing how scarce some vintage British pop 78s are, from major labels. |
