 | rocket666 turn me lose from your hands / tin can at my feet Member since Mar 2013 15770 Points | Apollo (500+) and Apollo Theatre (200+) and O2 Apollo (174); surely same venue and should be merged. Retaining the 'Manchester Apollo' title and subtext of Carling Apollo from 2002 and O2 Apollo from 2010 would be good, as these have been interchangeable over recent years, with the original reappearing many time in adverts and tour information. Member since Feb 2010 1707 Points Moderator | I think, from memory, the mods discussed this issue quite a while ago and decided to keep the venue names as individuals. If we extend your logic to combine names, literally hundreds of venues would need changing, every o2 venue for a start. I believe we also had some technical issues in the engine room of the site which makes it a troublesome issue to implement.. |

My idea was based on two listing for the same years prior to the Carling name in 2002. I had no comcern with other O2 venues having seem how they changed over a long time period. So my request is here now limited to say the two lists pre 2002 should be merged. Thanks. |
