Old Lady Looking for A Hymn

	Mike Wilson1 Musicologist Member since Dec 2019 26 Points	I was contacted recently by an elderly lady whose husband had just died and she wanted a hymn played at his funeral and would I possibly have it.....She said the Hymn was called "Hi Diddle Dee".....Well I racked my brains and thought that was a funny name for a hymn but I looked in all my reference books and came up with nothing....I got back to her and asked her if she could sing it a little.....She sang "La Dee Dee...Thou Blest Rock Of Ages I'm Hi-Diddle Dee".....It then became apparent that she wanted "Hiding In Thee"

	carryonsidney ● a happy disposition is an omnious sign.... Member since Feb 2010 1707 Points Moderator	Hi Mike - there is an Acappella version on Youtube here I'm sure most funeral directors will be able to rustle up a version of it as its quite a well known hymn.
