I haven't been to the website for quite some time but there is a message announcing David's Death? Not sure when it was added but I guess it must have been this year?
Funnily enough, I was actually pondering whether his death could have been mentioned here. I haven’t seen any reference to it online apart from his own website, but yes, David Moore died earlier this year, I believe.
I emailed him at the end of January to enquire about his announcement that he was selling his collection. Just over a week later, I got a reply from his daughter Jenny to say that he had passed away recently. According to the Internet Archive, the announcement could have been posted on or before 27 February. I believe he would have been 76. It would be interesting to know more about him. The website now says he died in February.
I bought from David’s lists, and met him last September at his garage sale. I collected some records I had already arranged to buy from him. Also there was Redpunk (Paul), who I met.
Apparently David had around 100,000 78s or more. Amazing. Condolences to his wife and family.

Yes he was certainly in the top ten of 78 collectors I had been buying from him for over 10 years and his garage sales were a great social event.
He was also only happy to help and assist me in the great hobby of 78 collecting
During a break in COVID regulations he held a garage sale and I was the only one to turn up.
David’s family are planning to sell off his records to collectors. If anyone is interested in buying from it, particularly in bulk, you are welcome to email them via the website linked above. The remainder of the collection will go to auction.

Hope you are recovered by September/October, when they are planning to let people browse.
The collection also includes cylinders, sheet music and machines.
