Our first duplicate on 78rpm and you can see why...

Cronkey read this as an O

HLO 8366

while I listed it as a 0 (Zero)

HL-0.8366

I'm pretty sure this is my mistake as the letter is code for the record's US source but it sure looks like a zero.

Also London experts should we dispense with the HL- and just have HLO (as Cronkey used)?

We can always add HL-0.8366 as a secondary catalogue number.

I would say "O" rather than 0 given other London releases are HL then a letter.
HLO sounds good to me with any other variations listed as secondary numbers.

It's definitely O.

Regarding giving alternative cat numbers it would be much easier for London HL series that the alternative cat number was just HL followed by the number (e.g. HL8366).

This avoids having to give the export code letter when searching.
