Artist names vs. those on 45cat

Is there any reason for us to adhere to the disambiguated name forms that exist on 45cat, or are we starting fresh here? For instance, The Spiders on Imperial are known as "The Spiders [USA]" on 45cat. I don't know if there are future plans to link artists between the two sites...

OC can probably answer this better but to my knowledge each 'world' has it's own database so there is no technical reason why the artist names would have to match.

My personal opinion would be that if there has to be disambiguation then it'd be nice if it matched across the various websites BUT if there is no need for it then it'd be neater to just keep the name as it is.

i.e. if there turned out to be only one artist called The Outsiders on 78 then I'd just keep it as The Outsiders.
