It's very sad, that this program not is in English. It was called "Nattsudd" and was one of the best music programs ever send on Swedish TV.
If you don't understand Swedish, just look and listen. It's a nice journey anyway.

Night life (Nattsudd) was a Swedish TV series which aired in several stages between 1985 and 1991. They have subsequently achieved cult status . The first round began to broadcast 24 August 1985.
The series consisted of Björn Wallde (in some sort of same-jacket) and Svante Grundberg (wearing a dress shirt, vest and bow tie) sat in Bjorn's apartment on Kungsholmen , Stockholm , where they drank cocktails, smoking and talking. The talk was interrupted by, or focused on, clips from old movies, "music videos", news reports, television series and sometimes their own material. Much of the element was " leg-kicking "and swing from the 1930s, rockabilly from the 1950s and all manner obskyriteter. Recurring performers were damorkestrar led by Ina Ray Hutton , guitarist Cordell Jackson , dancer Winnie Johnson and Spike Jones .
A prominent feature was Walldes interpretations of country classics, clumsily compat by himself on guitar. Likewise, the heralded constant talking, often completely past each other. The subject was often how they were going out and "pull on the town", but they were basically never left.
One of the sections, which aired immediately after the Eurovision Song Contest 1988, contained their own festival with countries that should have been included, such as the Faroe Islands , East Prussia , and Memphis, Tennessee .
Signature tune was a collage of "music videos" of the thirties, including a thirty recording of Nagasaki .
