Sorry getalife but I don't know Mr. Hamilton. Twenty years ago there were quite a few very knowledgeable 78 collectors with very large collections here in Australia. Most of these people would now be in their '80s if still alive. Mike Sutcliffe is a name that springs to mind - he published a magazine called The Australian Record And Music Review which was full of detailed discographical research. If Mike's still around he'd be a great one to have on board.
Hi Getalife,
I am sorry i do not know him,
I will ask "Coodercat" & "Spreadjoy", They might know a 78 collector as they are much older than I.
As mickey said, knowledgable 78 collectors are few & far between now.
I would pick up any interesting 78's if i came across them but i still have heaps of 45's to get through.
I noticed the "The vinyl_ Junkie has the same problem
Hi again Getalife.
This would be the chap for the 78's but i doubt if he would have the time. Ross Laird
